At the end of last year I had the pleasure of working with Seattle-based lingerie company, Wylde on capturing the e-commerce images for their website launch in early 2018. Working in-studio with one of my favorite Seattle-based freelance models, Autumn Jacobsen we created a soft and elegant look via lighting, styling and makeup to capture each of the products in their premiere collection.
I love to work with local businesses, especially women-owned companies, who are creating exceptional products and Wylde was a dream client! Photographing e-commerce can seem like a simple and straightforward project, but it’s important to work with a team to create effortless and high-quality images that allow your product to shine. I like to bring my experience of working with heavy-hitters like Amazon.com to each of my client projects – so that everyone can have the most amazing images possible, no matter how big or small your company.
For the look & feel of our photoshoot, Seattle-based makeup artist Ryann Brady created a soft and subtle smokey eye to enhance Autumn’s features, without being over-the-top and dramatic. We used a Makita Cordless Leaf-blower to create the subtle movement in the model’s hair. The Makita is definitely one of my must-have items to have on-set!
