Trilogy – Fall 2015 Lookbook

It was such a blast to work with Art Institute fashion major Jordan Elizabeth on her senior collection Trilogy. We spent a chilly day in November, on a rooftop in downtown Seattle capturing her beautiful designs. Lucky for us the sun was shining and it was the perfect day (wind and all!) to bring Jordan’s vision to life.

I absolutely adore Jordan, and the story behind her collection. From the incredible hand-dyed chiffon to the tiniest detail of the hand cut scalloped edges – Jordan’s story is beautiful. Born in Montana and transplanted to Seattle, I love how she encompassed both cities in her designs.

Inspirations in my designs come from the beauty of what Montana freely offers, such as the mountains ridges of the Bitterroot Valley and the flow of the Clark Fork River. I subsequently took the inspirations from Montana and united them with the metropolitan architecture of Seattle. My simplistic designs capture both cities with intricate raw edge detailing to communicate my story of two very different places
