Early this year in the middle of winter and on a chilly & sunny afternoon I headed down to the The Scotch Pine – a brand-new barbershop in the heart of Lower Queen Anne – to capture the vibe and atmosphere of this super rad spot. Exposed wood-beam ceilings, a larger-than-life wall mural by artist Kyler Martz and good music give this place the perfect northwest vibe. The best part of getting your hair cut here is the free beer with every cut. Or the fact that co-owner Emily Rawlings is a super bad-ass lady barber. Or that she has the most kick-ass team of cool peeps that will cut your hair, trim your beard – and otherwise clean you up and like a true gentleman! At any rate, you or the man in your life can enjoy a quality hair cut, kick-back and have a good time!
The Scotch Pine is co-owned by Emily Rawlings and her husband Josh Rawlings
